1.06.2005

So I've stayed up too late again.

I worked on my IM status indicator icons down on the lower right there. I didn't like the ones that the guy had that I set it up with, so I made my own. Like I said back on 12/20, I don't like the looks of this blog. I've been collecting ideas on how to make it more to my liking, I just haven't had the time to sit down and dick with it.

Am I wrong to want to punt pigeons when they cross my path? Every time I walk to/from work, there are pigeons on the sidewalk. They strut around, pecking at miniscule crumbs, getting in my way, as if they own the sidewalk, and I'm trespassing. I keep having to fight the urge to pretend I'm an NFL placekicker and punt them down the block. There was even once when I had to purposely slow down to keep from kicking the damn bird that was in my way. It was as if the little flying fucker was daring me to do it.

Another thing that irritates the hell out of me is the fact that handicapped people don't have to plug parking meters in Dallas. I don't begrudge them the prime parking spots. Hell, the walk from the far end of the parking lot would do me good. Apparently their handicap is that they have no change. I'd always suspected that they didn't have to plug meters, until the other day when it was confirmed. I was walking home for lunch, and a Parking Enforcement Officer was checking meters, and when he happened across an expired meter, he looked in the windshield at the handicap hangtag, and moved on. Handicapped people make a big deal about equal access, and being treated like they're normal. If they truly wanted to be treated equally, they'd plug the meters.

I'm curious as to who all reads this blog. I'm actually wondering if a specific person is reading, but I don't want to tip them off if they are reading it. I'm hoping they aren't, because I'd like to post some things to help me work something out, and I'd rather they didn't know about it. I might have to start up another blog, just for my own personal thoughts. (Don't worry, Cynthia, I'm not referring to you. bzzzzzzzzzzz)

I've got more things I want to write, but, like I said in the title, it's late, and I have to get to bed.

Comments:
I love you sweetie. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz
