New Toy At Work (if all goes right)

If we get the contract at the end of the month, we'll be getting a new color copier. Currently we have a Canon CLC 3100. It does 31 letter-size (8.5" x 11") full-color copies per minute. It's our only color copier, and we do enough color work here to warrant getting a second one. The higher-ups in the company don't want to spend the money on a new copier unless we have a signed contract in hand, which is to be decided soon.

The copier we'd be getting is an IKON CPP 8050. It does 50 letter-size color copies per minute. It also will print onto paper sizes up to 13" x 19.2" and weights up to 140# Index (the 3100 will only go up to 12" x 18" and 110#). It also prints at 600 dpi vs. the 3100's 400 dpi.

In all fairness, I should mention that the main reason I want us to get the contract is not so that I'll have a new copier to use, it's because I live right across the street from where I work. It takes me less than 5 minutes to walk to work.
