I'm going to bed.

I've been watching (kinda) the election results on TV tonight. It's now 1am, and Wolf Blitzer has pissed me off. He just stood there before the "Projection Screen" and said that CNN is officially calling Ohio too close to call. Why don't they just throw up their hands and say, "fuck, we don't know who won, and we won't know until all of the votes are counted, which the Ohio state Attorney General just said would take at least 10 days, maybe more."

I hate the media. I hate politics. Voting should be computerized. We should just be able to go in and vote, and have it saved to a master hard drive in the polling place. Then, when the polls close, they can dial into a central computer for the district and download the votes. The District computers can then dial into one for the County, which can dial into the State, which can then dial into a Federal computer. The media should be kept out of it until the results can be given all at once, with none of this "projection" bullshit.

Testing this thing out.
