Watching the clock.
I'm trying to kill 10 minutes at work before I have to go home, so I thought I'd post.
I met one of my neighbors the other night. The Wilson had a mini-party with pizza and beer. I had a good time, though I stayed up too late and drank too much.
Work's going well. All the companies who are bidding for the In-House contract from NM are giving their proposals this Thursday and Friday, and will be visiting the shop afterward. B will be here both days to field any questions they may have. TR is giving their proposal, too, but will be taking the NM people to the SuperStore to show them what kind of support structure we have. E is fairly confident we'll get the contract, as is B, but it still makes me nervous. I'd hate to have to look for another job so soon after finding this one, or have to work in a less convenient location for TR. Damn the time is going slow. It went by really fast this morning, it's just crawling now.
I'm tired of weaving through boxes at home. I just want to get the unpacking finished. The thing that sucks the most is that we have almost run out of places to put things in the kitchen. We need to spend a few hundred dollars on some Elfa to make the cabinets more usefull, but we don't have a few hundred dollars to spare. I also need a new pair of work shoes, and we need a bra for the Beetle, and I want to get a PhatBox for it. Oh, and we need 3 new tires so that they all match. And I have to fix the leak in the 3rd brake light.
Oh, well, time to head home.
