Earlier this year I bought a new 80 GB HD for my computer. I have it as my primary HD, and use the old 40 GB HD as a music library. I've been loading my CD collection (~500 CDs) onto the computer, and am almost finished. I have about 20-30 more to go, and it's all done. As I rip the CD to the HD, I box it up, so that our loft is less cluttered (I'm currently using 4 boxes as a platform to raise our Xmas tree so it's more visible in the window). The 40 GB HD now has 6.16 GB left. The 80 GB HD has 20.3 GB left. I think I'm going to have to get another HD soon. Either that, or get another computer, and use this one for just music. The thing that sucks most about it is that our PhatBox cartridge is only 20 GB, and I have over 30 GB of music. I'll have to weed through the library & choose what music is most necessary for the PhatBox. I've been planning on picking up another cartridge for it, but they're currently rather expensive, and I have other things that are more urgently needed.
