Upon leaving work to head home for lunch today, my ears were instantly assaulted by the incessant ringing of the Salvation Army bell outside the Nameless Merchant.

Christmas isn't for another month and a half. They could have at least waited until the week of Thanksgiving, couldn't they?

Oh well, at least they waited until after Halloween. It's not even half way through November, for God's sake!
