Went to bed after midnight (we'd rented National Treasure from the $1/day kiosk at the new grocery store).

Woke up at 3:30 am to pee.

Alarm went off at 6 am. Had planned on getting up early to ride before the Tour coverage started. Decided 6 am was too early.

Snooze went off at 6:10 am. C decided to get up & get ready (I think, I went back to sleep).

C woke me up at 6:15ish to go ride. I told her 5 more minutes. She said ok. I got up 5 minutes later and began the process of waking up.

Went for 11.5 mile ride @ 7:30 am. Tried to return DVD to kiosk, but the store doesn't open until 8 am on Saturdays. Did entire ride with Nicholas Cage & Harvey Keitel on my back. Felt good, wanted to go farther, but C brought up the very good point about saving our energy to ride tomorrow.

Watched Michael Rasmussen crash twice and change bikes 4 times in the final time trial of the TdF.

Went to take a shower. As I stepped into the tub, my foot slipped, and I came down HARD on my left knee. It hurts badder than a mo'facker.

Hobbled to work just after Noon. We're slammed at work, so I've been staying late and had to come in Saturday to get work done. I'll have around 9 hours of overtime this week. It's the end of Nameless Merchant's fiscal year on the 31st, so they're trying to get as much stuff billed before then as possible.
