I had an interesting dream last night:
Dennis Rodman and Dolph Lundgren are at Mardi Gras-like festival (my perspective keeps switching from Dennis to Dolph, but is mostly from Dolph). Dennis gets extremely drunk so Dolph picks him up and takes him home. When Dolph gets him to the hotel, he stuffs Dennis into a cabinet, and then goes for help.
I'll finish this later. Just got busy at work.
The Dream, continued.
So Dolph Lundgren heads out to find help for the drunk Dennis Rodman. At this point, Dolph becomes me, and I'm in an Army barracks, and all of us are naked from the waist down, and we're sporting erections. Some guys are stroking theirs, others are just standing there talking. At that moment, someone yells "Attention!" and we all line up for inspection. The officer who is inspecting us is a woman. She doesn't pay any attention to all of us men with our erections pointing at her. One soldier, a short man, is standing on his foot locker and is beating away like he's in some sort of contest. She dismisses us and the scene changes again. I'm still Dolph, but Dennis has joined me and we're approaching a dark hotel at night in a storm. It's obvious that we're trying to get in from the elements. The desk clerk says that they have plenty of room for us. I realize we have no money. Dennis, who happens to be dressed like a woman, says that he can cook, if they need help in their diner, and that we could pay for our keep that way. The clerk agrees. Dennis puts on an apron and gets behind the grill and starts cooking. Dolph decides to go out and look for help. I/Dolph end up wandering through the forest, and happen upon a river. I walk along the bank of the river for a while, until I find a path into the woods.
Suddenly I'm leading a troop of children on a nature outing. We're trying to find some mythical rabbit or other creature. We find some cool high-dollar houses, but no sign of the creature. We keep wandering through the woods, following the path. I get separated from the group and find a tree stump that's about 8 or 9 feet tall, and about the same in diameter. I notice stairs leading up to the top of it, where there's a door or portal of sorts. As I reach the top of the stairs, the children find me. The other chaperone tells them to stay away from the tree stump, that it's the source of evil. I open the door and head on in.
Now I'm on a stage, interviewing Satan. I can't remember what questions I'm asking, but they don't matter. Satan is being rather blase about the whole thing. At one point, he sneezes, and I instinctively say, "God bless you." As I say it I realize the humor of the situation and think to my self that I probably shouldn't say it, but I do anyway. Satan just nodded a thanks to me.
At some point I climbed back out of the tree stump, and hiked back to the hotel where Dennis was working. The kids were all gone when I came back up, and Dennis had turned into a rather attractive blonde woman. Aparently he was also a very good short order cook, because the place was packed. I remember wandering the halls of the hotel a bit, but not much else.
Oh, it turns out that it wasn't Dennis Rodman that Dolph stuffed into a closet, but Dennis' twin brother. We ended up going back to let him out, and found that the staff had already released him.
