I found out today that the Nameless Merchant is getting irritated that it's taking the new vendor so long to take over the copy center. The vendor claims it will take them 30 days to get the equipment. They were awarded the contract back in mid-October. It's now the end of December. The Nameless Merchant is giving them until February 16 to be moved in. If they aren't in by then, we will keep the contract for another year.

Part of me wants them to get moving and take over. Part of me hopes they don't. If they take over, I'll be transferred and will receive a raise. If they don't, I'll stay there, and have to try to convince my boss to give me a raise anyway.
